About Warnes

Warnes is a display font designed by Eduardo Tunni. Display typography is made to give prominent text a distinctive presence, making it suitable for titles, posters, promotional graphics, logos and creative layouts. It can help draw attention to short phrases and headings where the lettering is an important part of the design.

This typeface comes in the Regular style at weight 400. Its character set supports Latin and Latin Extended, providing coverage for text that uses these writing systems.

The Warnes font package includes TTF and WOFF2 files, with 473 glyphs in the font file. It is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits commercial use subject to its conditions. Try your own text in the preview to examine the lettering before choosing a download format.

Use Warnes on your website

Copy the CSS below. Option B needs the font files uploaded to a fonts/ folder on your own server first.

Option A: use the font directly from Fonts1 (no upload needed)

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Warnes';
  src: url('https://files.fonts1.com/fonts1/fonts/3044/4e9d8c2d5e-warnes-regular.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

Quickest way to try it. For a busy production site, Option B (your own server) is more reliable.

Option B: self-host (download, then upload to your server)

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Warnes';
  src: url('fonts/Warnes-Regular.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

2. Apply it

body {
  font-family: 'Warnes', sans-serif;
}

How to install Warnes

  1. Download the font family (ZIP) and extract it.
  2. Windows: right-click the .ttf or .otf file and choose Install. macOS: double-click the file and choose Install Font.
  3. Restart your design or office program, then pick Warnes from the font list.

Fonts that pair well with Warnes

Good design mixes two or three fonts. These are picked from a different style (a clean sans next to a script, a serif next to a sans) so they stay easy to tell apart and cover the same language.
