About Galada

Galada is a display typeface designed for Bengali and Latin typography. Display fonts are generally intended to attract attention and create visual emphasis, making them suitable for titles, promotional graphics, posters, and other designs where text takes a prominent role.

This release includes the Regular style at weight 400. It supports Bengali and Latin scripts and contains 655 glyphs across its supported character repertoire. These features make it an option for projects that combine Bengali lettering with Latin text.

Galada font files are available in TTF and WOFF2 formats. TTF can be used in compatible desktop applications, while WOFF2 is intended for web typography. Preview your own text in the available style to assess how it fits your design before downloading.

Galada is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits commercial use subject to its terms. Review the license conditions before using or redistributing the font in your projects.

Use Galada on your website

Copy the CSS below. Option B needs the font files uploaded to a fonts/ folder on your own server first.

Option A: use the font directly from Fonts1 (no upload needed)

How to install Galada

  1. Download the font family (ZIP) and extract it.
  2. Windows: right-click the .ttf or .otf file and choose Install. macOS: double-click the file and choose Install Font.
  3. Restart your design or office program, then pick Galada from the font list.
