This privacy policy explains what information Fonts1 handles when you visit the site, why we handle it and what choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible. You can browse, preview and download fonts without creating an account.

Information we collect

Download counts

When you download a font we record which font was downloaded, the time and a short hash derived from your IP address that changes every day. We do not store your IP address in these records, and the hash cannot be turned back into an address. We use the counts to show which fonts are popular and to understand how the site is used.

Contact messages

If you use the contact form or email us, we store your name, email address and the message so that we can reply. We do not use this information for marketing and we do not share it, except where the law requires it.

Server logs

Our web server and hosting provider may keep standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used for security, spam prevention and troubleshooting, and are deleted after a limited period.

Saved font list

If you save fonts to "My list", the list is stored only in your own browser (local storage). It is not sent to our servers and we cannot see it.

Tools that run in your browser

Our text and image tools, the font converter and the font finder process your text, pictures and font files inside your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses a small session cookie only where it is needed, for example for the contact form and for the administration area. Public pages do not set a session cookie for visitors.

If advertising or analytics are enabled, third-party services such as Google AdSense and Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device. On our site these are loaded only after you accept them in the cookie notice. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Advertising and Google
