About Zain

Zain is a sans-serif typeface designed by Boutros Fonts. Sans-serif typefaces omit the small finishing strokes found on serif letters, making them useful for a range of applications, including website text, headings, interface elements, and graphic design projects.

The family includes ExtraLight (200), Light (300), Regular (400), Bold (700), ExtraBold (800), and Black (900), along with Light Italic (300) and Regular Italic (400). These options provide different levels of weight and two italic treatments, allowing designers to create contrast and establish visual hierarchy within a layout.

Zain supports the Latin script and is available in TTF and WOFF2 formats. The font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits commercial use subject to its terms. Preview your own wording to compare the available styles and decide which weight works for your project before downloading.

Use Zain on your website

Copy the CSS below. Option B needs the font files uploaded to a fonts/ folder on your own server first.

Option A: use the font directly from Fonts1 (no upload needed)

Fonts that pair well with Zain

Good design mixes two or three fonts. These are picked from a different style (a clean sans next to a script, a serif next to a sans) so they stay easy to tell apart and cover the same language.
