About Unna

Unna is a serif font designed by Omnibus-Type. Serif typefaces use small strokes at the ends of letterforms and are often suited to editorial layouts, books, articles, and formal headings. Their traditional structure can bring a clear typographic character to both print and digital projects.

The family includes four styles: Regular at weight 400, Bold at weight 700, Regular Italic at weight 400, and Bold Italic at weight 700. These options let you combine standard and italic text with different levels of emphasis within a design. The typeface supports the Latin script and contains 385 glyphs.

Unna is available in TTF and WOFF2 formats, making it an option for desktop design and web typography. Preview your own text to compare the available styles before downloading. The font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits commercial use subject to its terms.

Use Unna on your website

Copy the CSS below. Option B needs the font files uploaded to a fonts/ folder on your own server first.

Option A: use the font directly from Fonts1 (no upload needed)

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Unna';
  src: url('https://files.fonts1.com/fonts1/fonts/3014/4455661208-unna-regular.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

@font-face {

  font-weight: 700;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: italic;
  font-display: swap;
}

@font-face {

  src: url('https://files.fonts1.com/fonts1/fonts/3014/435f465f8f-unna-bolditalic.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 700;
  font-style: italic;
  font-display: swap;
}

Quickest way to try it. For a busy production site, Option B (your own server) is more reliable.

Option B: self-host (download, then upload to your server)

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Unna';
  src: url('fonts/Unna-Regular.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Unna';
  src: url('fonts/Unna-Bold.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 700;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Unna';
  src: url('fonts/Unna-Italic.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: italic;
  font-display: swap;
}

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Unna';
  src: url('fonts/Unna-BoldItalic.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 700;
  font-style: italic;
  font-display: swap;
}

2. Apply it

Fonts that pair well with Unna

Good design mixes two or three fonts. These are picked from a different style (a clean sans next to a script, a serif next to a sans) so they stay easy to tell apart and cover the same language.
