About Yuji Boku

Yuji Boku is a serif font designed by Kinuta Font Factory. Serif typefaces feature small finishing strokes on letterforms and are often used in editorial layouts, books, formal documents, and other text-focused designs. Their traditional typographic character can help create a structured, classic appearance across different types of content.

This release includes one Regular style at weight 400. It supports Cyrillic, Greek, and Latin scripts, making it suitable for text written in these writing systems. The available formats are TTF and WOFF2, providing options for desktop installation and web typography. Preview your own words to assess how the typeface fits your intended design.

Yuji Boku is distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Commercial use is permitted subject to the license terms. Review the conditions before using or redistributing the font in your projects.

Use Yuji Boku on your website

Copy the CSS below. Option B needs the font files uploaded to a fonts/ folder on your own server first.

Option A: use the font directly from Fonts1 (no upload needed)

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Yuji Boku';
  src: url('https://files.fonts1.com/fonts1/fonts/3086/5a4e9d5e86-yujiboku-regular.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

Quickest way to try it. For a busy production site, Option B (your own server) is more reliable.

Option B: self-host (download, then upload to your server)

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Yuji Boku';
  src: url('fonts/YujiBoku-Regular.woff2') format('woff2');
  font-weight: 400;
  font-style: normal;

Fonts that pair well with Yuji Boku

Good design mixes two or three fonts. These are picked from a different style (a clean sans next to a script, a serif next to a sans) so they stay easy to tell apart and cover the same language.
