About Ysabeau Infant

Ysabeau Infant is a sans serif font designed by Christian Thalmann. Sans serif typefaces omit the small finishing strokes found on serif letters, giving them a straightforward appearance that can suit reading materials, digital interfaces, educational content, and everyday documents. The category offers a versatile foundation for layouts where clear, uncomplicated lettering is useful.

This release includes Variable and Italic Variable styles, each listed at weight 400. The italic style provides another option for emphasis and typographic contrast. Supported scripts include Cyrillic, Greek, Latin, Latin Extended, and Vietnamese, allowing text in these writing systems. Available downloads come in TTF and WOFF2 formats for desktop installation and web typography.

Ysabeau Infant is distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits commercial use subject to its terms. Check the license conditions before using or sharing the font in your projects.

Fonts that pair well with Ysabeau Infant

Good design mixes two or three fonts. These are picked from a different style (a clean sans next to a script, a serif next to a sans) so they stay easy to tell apart and cover the same language.
